None except for the vivid crimson that decorated her outfit, dyed her long horns and monstrous claws, and filled her irises with vibrant magenta.

Black Gold Saw stood immobile on the edge of the cliff as she watched over her chaotic terrain. Mountains of monochromic shapes seemed to join the rocky landscape like undying trees with branches of motionless and broken limbs. The corpses never decomposed after all. They just ceased moving as if they were dolls, as if they never lived to begin with.

Black Rock Shooter - The Bandby *Athyra

In a school near Sakuragaoka, called Kotori Joshi (Little Bird All-Girls) high school, freshman Kuroi Mato, Takanashi Yomi, Koutari Yuu and Izuriha Kagari founded a light music club after hearing about it from Yuu's neighbor Okuda Nao. The stoic, bespectacled girl had so much fun in her band, the Wakaba Girls (yes, in spite of her placid demeanor), that Yuu excitedly suggested the idea to her best friends since middle school.

With Mato as the club president, the four of them formed a band called Black Rock Shooter in memory of the Otherself who taught them to overcome their pain and grow up. Just what sort of challenges await them in KJ? And what would happen if the BRS band were to meet the WG band?

…the above is just a random fake synopsis XD The idea for this pic just hit me when I realized how little fanarts there are of BRS characters in K-on verse (while there are quite a few vice versa). KJ's uniforms were from the two pics I already did of them in last year of high school [link] [link]

Reasons for their roles:
Yomi as bassist - self-explanatory XD
Mato as guitarist - she played guitar in the OVA and ~~she is Azusa~~ she has the energy to lead them.
Yuu as drummer - she's Strength. 'nough said.
Kagari as vocalist - somehow I can't see her playing keyboards or guitar but most importantly,

… I mean, Kitamura Eri should be the vocalist just because! She's also the lyricist and composer with Yomi

never drawing instruments again X_X. Guitarists, bassists and drummers are welcome to pitchfork me for butchering the instruments' details. Also totally got lazy and just did simple anime-style shading. Background is in reference to the Kotoritori book Mato loves XD
